Dundurn Castle Engagement Photography

While I primarily serve Toronto couples, sometimes I get to work with amazing people a bit further afield. In the heart of Hamilton, Ontario, lies the enchanting Dundurn Castle, a historical gem that breathes life into centuries-old tales of romance and nobility. This stately mansion, dating back to the 19th century, stands very proud to Hamilton's rich heritage. It's here where I had an awesome day getting to know Lyly and Allan. Photographing them reminded me why I love being a Toronto engagement photographer – capturing genuine connections in beautiful locations

The castle provides a picturesque setting for these two, a backdrop of history and elegance. Legend has it that Sir Allan MacNab, known for his charismatic personality and larger-than-life presence, hosted a lavish banquet at Dundurn Castle in honor of a distinguished guest—none other than the legendary British author Charles Dickens! It was soon after where they had their wedding not too far away, and Allan and I had another epic car shoot in between!
