When Anita and Jon asked me to capture their engagement session on the Esplanade in Toronto, I knew it was going to be a memorable day. The Esplanade, with its vibrant atmosphere, historic architecture, and scenic views, provided the perfect backdrop for their love story.
Anita and Jon are one of those couples who make my job incredibly easy. Their chemistry is undeniable, and their joy is infectious. From the moment we started, they were full of laughter, playfulness, and those little affectionate glances that make for the most candid and heartwarming photos.
We began our session near the iconic Flatiron Building, a spot that holds a special place in their hearts. The combination of the building's striking architecture and the surrounding greenery set the tone for a beautiful series of shots. Jon couldn’t stop making Anita laugh with his quirky sense of humor, and her radiant smile lit up every frame.
As we wandered along the Esplanade, we found hidden gems around every corner. From cozy cafés to charming street art, each spot added a unique touch to their engagement photos. One of my favorite moments was when they spontaneously danced in front of a mural, completely lost in their own world. It was a perfect representation of their love—vibrant, fun, and full of life.
I must admit, this engagement session was particularly meaningful to me because I had the honor of photographing their wedding at Madison Greenhouse. Seeing them tie the knot amidst the lush greenery and natural light of the greenhouse was magical. Their wedding day was filled with love, laughter, and happy tears, and it was a privilege to be part of such a beautiful celebration.
